Design Brief
ADFA have an existing AFL/ Cricket oval that needs a new sports pavilion to be designed. I've been given an opportunity to design a modern sports pavilion that ADFA will appreciate and find the building appealing.

I like the glass windows, It’s like when you’re out the pavilion you can’t see what’s Inside and you can only see the reflection of yourself. While, when you’re inside the pavilion you can see the views outside.

I like the stairs, the fence, and the rectangle shape of the pavilion.
"Moodboard is an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept. we put together a mood board with key images and words that best convey the essence of the design".
A moodboard is an inspiration and gave ideas for the final design of the sports pavilion. The collections of images on the left side gave me ideas that help me easily create the project.

The location for this project is the grassed oval at the north of Fairbairn Ave.

A modern style pavilion. The building's shapes are 2 squares with a hexagon in the middle. The floor plan includes a female's room (3 cubicles, 2 showers, changing room, disabled room, storage), male's room (2 cubicles, 2 showers, changing room, disabled room, storage), canteen (kitchen, counter, table sets, sofa). 1 square is the female's room, the other square is the male's room and the hexagon shape in the middle is the canteen.

The site plan includes car parking, grass floorings (4 for sunny/warm days, cool days and 2 for rainy days, too much heat.)

The final design is a modern style pavilion. The building is a 3 hexagon shape each size are 10000mm. The floor plan includes canteen (kitchen, counter, table sets, sofa, cabinet, drawers, sink), female's room (toilet, shower, changing room, disabled room, storage) and male's room (toilet, shower, changing room, disabled room, storage). The site plan includes car parking, grass floorings (4 for sunny/warm days, cool days and 2 for rainy days, too much heat.). Each building has a color code which represents the colors of ADFA's logo. Light Blue ls the female's room, Red is the canteen and Dark Blue is the male's room.
